We recently started developing our KHU Wiki and now, we are offering all regular forum members to go check it out and get involved!

What's the KHU Wiki all about, we hear you ask? Imagine Wikipedia, but with all the drama and going ons of the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania community. You can check out the history of Kingdom Hearts Ultimania, notable members/contributers, popular site memes and moving forward, we hope to have a solid database of information on the Kingdom Hearts games.

If you wish to get involved in the editing, just go-to the site and login using the same Username & Password you use on KHU Forums. Provided you have a minimum of 50 posts, you will gain the abilities to create or edit any page on the Wiki.

Use this topic to discuss the Wiki and pose any questions you may have. If you want even more information or help, you can PM our dedicated Wiki representatives (currently these are Steven, Jiminy Cricket & Zuriel).

We all hope you guys enjoy this new project as Steven (Wiki Maintainer), our VIP Members and the rest of the staff have worked very hard on it so far.

I have a quick question. Are you going to link the wiki at the top of the page like the Arcade, Blogs, etc? Or just keep it the way it is. D:

The wiki is not as bad as I thought it would be to be honest. It's kinda hard to figure out how things work, so I'll just tinker around with it until I can understand it completely.

If you click on the list of articles page, you can see all the information there is. So far there are KHU members, memes, banned members, history articles, and so on.

But with the help from more members it can be bigger.

Anyways, it looks a lot better than a lot of wikis I've seen before... except VGwiki.

WHY WHY WHY did you have to kill it? I will (almost) forever lament it.....

I'm glad members are already starting to check out the wiki, and don't worry, we're always here for any support issues.

There are many plans in store, so make sure you stay updated. =)

The wiki is in horrible condition. It's not.. organized. There should be something like "Members List" and like, "KHU History" links. The main page could use some banners and etc. >_>

Special member lists are actually under construction, but as for a general list, that still needs to be determined by an agreed post count.

As for not being able to create pages, as it was stated, you should be able to make them with 50 posts or more. If that's currently not the case, I will see what I can do.

Are you logged in? Your username and password is the same as on the forums. If you are logged in you can see your name all the way at the top of the page. You should be able to add/edit articles.

Anyway, I was wondering how do we post images into our article?

We went through so many iterations of organizational things, but it'll get better in time, trust me.

There are also alot of depreciated pages that we didn't clean up, due to laziness and general losing track of them, but we have full intentions of making it all better.

As to the main page, Pete has some software upgrading to do. When those upgrades are put into place, we'll begin working on the front page

As to Ozma, I'm going to put together a little how to document when I wake up again.

Because to do what I hand in mind would require me quitting College, didn't want to.
I wanted a combined site of what http://www.N4G.com does and a more in-depth (e.g. multimedia) version of http://gaming.wikia.com/

I have a little bit of an annoucement:

Today has been one of the biggest editing days on the KHUWiki since it opened in November. Today clocks in at 139 edits.

With the community's help, we can make that number go higher!

A wiki? Sweet.....thats pretty nice. i once was a member of this other forum for mario, and we almost made a wiki, but we didnt for some reason.

That'd be great for the Creativity Page. Right now, most of mainly involves signatures and avatars, but there's certainly room for it.

I guess that would be alright. Any contribution is appreciated.

Oh yeah. You guys can now contribute Kingdom Hearts content.

I'm gonna start working on a way to separate the content.

I can handle the main characters. One thing: Is Kairi the Mayor's daughter? I could've sworn Riku mentioned it in a flashback in Kingdom Hearts 1...

I've just checked it out .. looks pretty sweet.

Only thing is that the navigation isn't all that good ... there isn't obvious buttons and links that go to the pages and when i did find them it was unorganized.

That's an administrative decision really, when the next version is released. It's coming when it does. (Unless Pete says otherwise)

Zuriel has decided to step down as a Wiki Staff member.
Declan has been appointed his successor.

All the prior data has yet to be ported over however, but we expect to take care of this in the coming days.

That being said, re-registrations might in order due to loss of the forum intergration component, which we are now sure caused the downtime.

Maybe you should post a link at the old address, 'cause I went there and it just said that it had gone.

If it wasn't for that link posted here, I wouldn't have found it.

Just a suggestion, to help noobs like me...

I was wondering, how long will it take to move over all the data?

I just finished relinking the old database to the new wiki files. So all of the information is back!

Our pictures directory needs to be restored however.

Your forum details are still linked to your wiki accounts, so log in with those.

And remember, have fun with it.

And I hope we won't be going anywhere for a while now

I'm proud to annouce that the wiki is working 100% again.

Images are restored. And the uploading problem seems to have been resolved.

Wiki will be back by the end of the week, next week at most.

Also, with our new server, we are going to be able to install MediaWiki 1.13.2, which is a majorly needed upgrade.
