This guide was created for my use and as there have been a billion topics on
the message board I thought everyone else would like a piece of it. As some
stuff was taken from the strategy guide most of the research and most of all,
the typing and godawful gamefaqs formatting was done by me so don't go stealing
this as you will be hunted down and forced to eat your eat own fingers. That
being said the only place that has permission to post this gamefaqs.com.

If you have any problems, corrections, or comments feel free to email me but
don't spam my inbox and also take note that I will not answer any questions
relating to gameplay, story, walkthroughs, etc. This is for synthesis only.

Also this list was made using the order that's given in the game, these are not
alphabetical, if you can't find it, look harder.

Getting Started:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You're probably going to want to actually get synthesis items when you kill
something so the easiest way to do that is to equip Lucky Lucky abilities. There
are 7 of these in the game 1 from Sora's abilities learned at Level 41 if you
chose sword, 53 for shield, and 99 for staff. Donald learns his by beating the
Heartless at the Old Mansion in Twilight Town. Goofy from beating the hyenas at
the King's Den in Pride Lands. There is also another from weapons, one for each
character, Sora's is the Sweet Memory that you get from completing the Spooky
Cave in 100 Acre Wood, Donald's is the Meteor Staff from a Seadrift Keep chest
in Port Royal, and Goofy's from the Titan Cup in Olympus Coliseum. The final
Lucky Lucky comes from the Luck Ring obtained after beating the Pain and Panic
Cup also from Olympus Coliseum.

To get the Ultima Weapon, you must have the following materials:
7 Orichalcum+
1 Orichalcum
1 Mythril Crystal
1 Dense Crystal
1 Twilight Crystal
4 Serenity Crystals

1 Energy Crystal

---To get the Orichalcum+'s, you must:

1: Clear Atlantica

2: Colloect all of the Stolen pages of Pooh's book and Complete 100 Acre Woods

3: At The World That Never Was, just before you enter the big castle, there should be a shop, a save point, a big chest, and a small chest. Open Both chests and one of them will contain an Orichalcum+.

4: Clear the Goddess of Destiny Cup at the Underdrome. To get this cup available, you must fight the first battle against Xemnas (the final boss) and come back to the Collosium. The cup will then be free to enter.

5:Go to Twilight town and hop on the brown train. When you get to Sunset Terrace, hop onto the tram and onto the roof of a building. In the chest, there should be one more Orichalcum+.

6: In Space Paranoids, right before the boss battle with Sark and the MCP, the will be an area with 3 chests. One of them will contain a Orichalcum+. Note that you can come back afterwards and get it.

7:You must Collect at least 1 of EVERY synthesis item and enter a moogle shop. If you don't get the Orichalcum+ right away, exit and re-enter the synthesis part of the shop.

---The Orichalcum can be obtained from one of the many chests that hold it or from using the reaction command on a Bulky Vender.
The Bulky Vender can be found in only certain spots and is fairly rare. I usually find it where you fight Cerberus with Auron.

---Mythril Crystals can be either found in one of the chests that contain it or be obtain through synthesis. To synthesis it, you must make a Mythril Gem from free developement. Then go to Creations and make it again, only this time add a Serenity Stone. You now have your Mythril Crystal
If you can't make the Crystal but have all the materials, you must level up you moogle first. Level your moogle up by making more items

---Dense Crystals are dropped by Beserkers. These can be found at Twilight Town, Mysterious Tower, The World That Never Was.

---Twilight Crystals are dropped by Sorcerers. These can be found at The World That Never Was.

---Serenity Crystals are dropped by Beserkers. These can be found at Twilight Town, Mysterious Tower, and The World That Never Was.

As for finding the dropped materials, have the ability "Lucky Lucky" equipped to the entire party before you start. It also helps to have the keyblade "Sweet Memories" equiped.

that would be for materials, not recipes

for recipes, you need to synth items and stuff

look at the list in my first post, it shows what recipe's you can get from chests... the rest, you have to synth or get higher moggle level

And there's an error in the guide:

- Bulky Vendor (10% with capsule prize, 122% with rare capsule, 16% with limited

Bulky Vendors drops Orichalcum in a 12% chance with rare capsule.

missing recipes - maybe it's because you havent levelled your moogle shop to the max... Recipes like Mythril Gem appear at lvl 8 or 9 i think.. dunno

Well, that is provided you supply the energy crystal. However, i think that if you max out your moogle level, they half the number of materials needed for S- rank materials (Orichalcum+ is one of these), and as such you won;'t need the energy crystal. But of course it's faster with the energy crystal. Just wondering though. What if you fulfill both criteria? Does that mean this?:

4 Orichalcum+
1 Orichalcum
1 Mythril Crystal
1 Dense Crystal
1 Twilight Crystal
4 Serenity Crystals

1 Energy Crystal

and all that is enough for making Ultima Weapon? Heh then you will have extra 3 Orichalcum+. I'm not sure if i'm right.

i think the max u can get the orichulum+ is only 7, and plus it is ver hard to get your moogle level to max without synthesysing, i dunno though, it took me a while to get it.

ill say i had to synthesyse nearly everything twice befor i got to level 9, and then i had to complete all the lists... man i should have done it on proud mode

Ahh this is strange. I got the Ultimate Weapon Recipe and it says that I need 13 Orichalcum+ and 7 Serenity Crystals. I have no idea why...
