The final Riku Replica battle in Sora mode was by far the hardest boss in the game. It took me several days for me to beat him, even after I stocked a bunch of zeros into my deck. He's probably the most vicious boss I've encountered in all the handheld games I own.

The first Marluxia battle comes in second because of his weird way of moving and attacking. It seemed like he slowed time or something, and I rarely could card break it in time.

Out of the choices, hmm...i'd say a tie between Ansem II and riku replica IV in sora's story...

Overall i'd say

Marluxia I is hardest, followed by these three as a tie.

Larxene II
Riku IV
Ansem II

Riku Replica (5th fight) was the hardest for me. Lost about 8 times or more. But he's been owned now

There are only 2 riku replica battles so I think you guys must mean on sora's.All riku bosses were so easy I could laugh all the way to Texas.Ansem was a little hard since it took me like 20 tries to beat him.He always got me when I ran out of 0 cards.

Riku Replica, god that ******* kept breaking my cards D: it wasn't marluxia when he was on the flowerthingy it was long becasue of his hp but it was just to easy, nu challenge there at all.

I'd have to say it's between Riku and Ansem, but I'll lean more towards Ansem. Yeah, it was pretty hard going against Riku for the 5th time, with his Dark Aura attack. At first, it took me a long time to beat him, but then I found a strategy to beat him, making the battle quite easy. On the other hand, it's hard to fight Ansem. Not only does he do thpse annoying lighting attacks, but they keep coming one after another. Also, it's really hard to break his cards, because they're like 7s, 8s, and 9s, so you'll keep being attacked. Oh, and that 'submit'-thing is annoying,too.

I'm gonna half to go with Ansem. Yeah, it did take me forever to beat Riku, but I'm still on Ansem, so I think he's the tougher one.

Replica Riku was killer. Then again, any time you face a Riku wearing a skirt it seems tough.

Hmm..I'd have to say Vexen was the biggest pain. >> If it wasn't for that shield of his, I actually would have beat him without having to rely on luck.

For me I definitely I have to say that Riku IV by far was the hardest boss battle for me in the entire game. That boss battle was one of the main reasons why it took me over 6 months to complete both Sora and Riku's storyline 100% for CoM.

I honestly hope that we never have a boss battle with Riku ever again in any future KH game, the second boss battle in KH1 against Riku was another battle that pisssed me off to no end, it took me ages to get past him in that game and was one of the main reasons why it took me over 3 months to complete KH1 100% too.

Hey don't get me wrong, I like Riku as a character - heck he is probably my favourite character overall from all three KH games. I just despised the boss battles with him, they where just way too hard and frustrating both in KH1 and CoM imo.

Anywayz back on topic, the second hardest battle for me in CoM was Marluxia I followed thirdly by Axel II - these two battles gave me a loada grief and frustration too before I finally got past them.

Marluxia's battle I found very drawn out when I first fought him. Though when I tried to fight him again after I hadn't played the game in ages, I lost against him real quickly. If you don't know what you're doing (or if you get rid of all your zero cards) then Marluxia can be a challenge.

Though I honestly remember the Riku Replica taking me forever to beat in front of Twilight Town. If I had to go with the hardest boss battle, he would have to be my first pick.
