I remember seeing a interview kinda thing on one of the Official Playstaion 2 Magazine here in the UK and thought that it looked interesting. But I didn't get it until it came out as the platinum release...I have to say that I've never actually looked back since smile.gif

I got it as a gift from my mum when I'd just taken my first Grading Exam for saxophone, so she said she would get me a game as a present for doing well on it. We went into GameStation and I saw it, noticed that it was by Square and chose it straight away. I was a big fan of their previous games like FFX so I decided to give it a try!

Quickly typed, please pardon the typos. wink.gif

I probably first heard about it from my sister, and it sounded cute, but I wasn't hooked. Online friends told me about it too, and kinda started getting me interested a bit, but then my sister bought the OST. "Hand in Hand Reprise" sounded like something that would be played in Futureworld, EPCOT, and I've always been a big fan of teh parks. "Simple and Clean"/"Hikari" was really catchy, and I found myself borrowing the CD to listen (and wondering why for a while why the English words didn't match Hikari). From there I started looking at what the characters looked like.

Once upon a time, back when Pokemon was new in the U.S., I got hooked. All because I thought Pikachu was the cutest little thing in the world. Time passed, and I kinda fell out of it, though i still thing Pikachu still gives me "cute cavities."

And when I looked at the character designs, I was hooked. All because I thought Sora was the cutest thing in the world. (Yes, I'm one of the few people here who's just outside of the "he's datable" market. Sorry, too young for me. wink.gif )

When I found out it was going to be on GBA, I rushed to buy COM, since I had a GBA. But with no PS2, I ended up catching up on storyline in reverse.

A friend of mine who liked Final Fantasy had a PS2, and I got her addicted. In return for my playing her game, I let her play my GBA.

And, while doing the Walt Disney World College Program internship in Fall 2005, I found the game at the DisneyQuest Emporium shop. And bought it. A few days later I was happily purchasing a PS2 at Walmart after a shift at Mission Space (and dancing my way back to the bus).

And, later that night, after catching up on 10 years of game technilogy, I had a new TV game set hooked up and boogie-ing through the Destiny Islands, and in a month I completed the game. To this day, KH1 is still my fave.

back when it came out I saw it on tv and thought it was retarded. about a year later I played it at my friends house and borrowed it a few weeks later. I liked it and one day I found my self with $15 and some games that I didnt play anymore so I went to gamestop and bought it with the money I had and what I got from the games for $20. I played that for a long time and then one day I saw kh2 at walmart for $30 so I got some money to buy it. I still dont have CoM.

I really like the way I got mine! I was omg 8 and 3/4s old and everytime I think about it, it makes me feel old. Ok when I turned 8 almost exactly when Kingdom Hearts came out. I had no clue what-so-ever it was. All I knew is that FF looked awsome for the PS2 so I bought a PS2. I felt really stupid cause I had wasted all my Christmas money on a system when I didn't have enough money to buy a game. This happened in February. Then my family went to Georgia. My mom's friend's little kid had a weird game where he was playing as a boy with goofy and tarzan. Well I started to play it and got hooked. My parents made me go to bed before I could find out the name of this game. We left early in the morning and I never found out the name of the game. A couple weeks after we got back. I invited my friend Andrew over. He brought some of his games and one of them had the same boy in it. The name of the game was Kingdom Hearts. The next Sunday was Easter Sunday. Well I was little then and my parents still made me believe in the Easter Rabbit. I found my bag of chocolate and inside with it was Kingdom Hearts. I had never told them about the title and yet they got it for me! Thats probly why I love Kingdom Hearts soo much is because my family got it for me without me asking. I really love Kingdom Hearts!

Borrowed it from a friend who claimed it was not challenging enough. At that time, "not challenging" was good news for me since I was a novice when it came to gaming. I don't think I knew what KH was back then, or even heard of it, for that matter. But since my friend left it at my house for so long, I popped it in for a quick look. I'm glad I did. haha.

To be perfectly honest, I mostly wanted it for Halloween Town and the Keyblades.

At first, when we found the website, I had no idea what the hell it or Final Fantasy was. I also thought it was a movie o_O If only, if only...*sighs*

five years ago,in a cabin far,far away...

my friends all liked it and i wanted them to stop cuz it had disney in it.then i was at wal-mart and my mom said to go look at the video games after i got all my food for the week.i got them and lazily went to the games and they had kh1.i thought that it was going to be a stupid money grabbing company that advertised to kids too much.on the way out,i put a dollar into the toy machine and got a green goofy keychain(kh style).i was mad.on christmas morning,my mom got me kh1 and kh:com.i said thanks and i acted happy.i threw them under my desk and didnt open them until i got into the car(to go to our christmas cabin)and my mom said i forgot my games.i only packed my gameboy and ps2 and i forgot all the games.so i played kh1(had a small tv in the car) and didnt getthe hang of it.when we reached the cabin, all my friends were still there.we got snowed in and hooked up my ps2.i put in kh1(to my friends demand)and i started to get a hang of it.then i found a stick the next day and we went to the treehouse outside and played destiny islands.(come on,we were thirteen!)now when we go back,im inviting everyone up and im driving there to go fix up the treehouse and name it destiny islands(thecabin area)we also named my old car highwind.

thank you kingdom hearts,i have had great memories with you!

I got it because I saw a piece on it on Disney Channel and thought it looked cool. My siblings were skeptical but I'm glad I got it.

I saw the ad for it on TV when it first came out, and I told my dad that I wanted it, BUT . . . I didn't have a PS2.
So that December, I got one for christmas, but completely forgot about KH until I saw an ad for KH: COM. That was the first KH game I got, but in the middle of it, I stopped and said "This makes NO SENSE".
So I bought KH a month later, and then KHII when it came out.

I got it because I wanted to try a slightly different type of RPG.
I've been hooked ever since.

I had a best friend named Jaclyn when I was younger and she was playing it on her PS2 and at first I thought it looked really stupid. A year later she moved away and it was my birthday so I got a PS2 and I remember her playing it so I looked for it. What do you know it's 19 bucks hell yeah! I really didn't know why I bought it because I though it was stupid and then I saw the FMV at the beginning and the Darkside fight and was like "I LOVE THIS GAME!"...and that's how I am here.

Well lets see...

Ok, so it was around christmas time right?
What was I... like, 8 or something? I dunno...

Well anyway, so it was around christmastime, and i found this recipt(sp?) laying on the dinner table.

I naturally look at it right? So yea, I do. Turns out its the recipt that was from the presents my dad got me xD

So I got kingdom hearts and some beyblades xD

But my dad was really sad and then I felt bad because I wasn't supposed to know and it like, ruined everything... Cause I told him I found it and stuff.. D:

But I was afraid to play it because I got the guide with it and when I saw darkside i got all afraid xD

When I first heard of KH I decided to give it a go but was put off temporarily because of the inclusion of FF characters. However, after seeing great reviews on the Internet and hearing that the game was really popular in Japan, I decided to try it when it came out in Europe. And I loved it. biggrin.gif
