The whole point of the whole card thing was to draw attention away from the fact that they couldn't use the same system as KH1. Without it, this game would of been really unpopular.

The cards are what make this game its own game. Face it, the game is basically a rehash of KH1, while in someways that was okay, after waiting for KH2 for so long we needed something new.

And for anyone who complains about the card system, i really dont get how this isn't a button masher, if you didnt want to figure out how to combo cards and stuff, you could just button mash your way throught the game, its not that hard.

The cards is what make this game good. Without the cards, this game would just be a normal GBA adventure game. But the cards make it more challenging and more interesting. I for one think this game wouldnt have sold as much as it did without the card feature. It is truley unique.

While I sometimes find the card system annoying, it is a good aspect of the game and without it, it would just be a remake of Kingdom Hearts I except replacing the word 'heart' with 'memory'.

I guess I really wanted it on PS2 in the first place. Just because we might never get it now. And come up with some more original in-between stuff. Seriously, it's like playing KHI all over again.

I actually liked the Card System more than I thought I would. True, I thought it was dumb at first, but it gave the game a more strategic feel. You actually had to think when you fought and it wasn't just senseless bashing at the enemy.

Now, I'm not saying the other KH's were full of senseless bashing (and even if they were, it was still fun! XD), I'm just saying the Card System was a refreshing change to the normal battle style.

I liked the card system, it was strategic. After I got used to my own personal deck it made it easier to fight,, and easier to win. After getting used to switching the cards with L and R it was pretty easy. I liked it, it was different than the others.

And without the cards they would have to change the sotoryline a little bit because they used the cards in the cut scenes.

i agree the card battle actually made it more strategic and more enjoyable for me once i learned how to trump others in the card battles. for me i thought 0 cards were the worst until i met Riku. the cards can make the game easier or harder depending on how fast your gaming reflexes are. for me i loved it.

I didn't mind it. Think I would of preferred normally fighting.

But it did mean i had something else to learn, And the Sleights where cool

I think the game would have been easier without the cards, but the card system gave it an interesting edge. So yeah, i liked the cards. Besides, as people have said, it would have just been KH1 with different bosses and slightly different story without the cards.

The cards were an interesting twist in the game which made it different from your ordinary game-boy game, it was pretty cool but I prefer the command menu battle system...

So it would have been good if it wasnt with cards, but it would have been abit less different and a repeat of KH1, which I think is why they put the cards in...

Probably just the same as KH, really, only in a different format. I mean obviously the "memories in the cards" thing would have to go too, mind.

If this game didn't have the cards in it, I would say that CoM would have been basically more or less a repeat of KH1.

I personally liked the card system since they made battles - especially the boss fights - more strategic and challenging.

Yeah, Baks is kinda right.

I liked the card system even if it is a pain in the arse.

I wouldn't think it would be that good. I mean the card battle system was the main reason I played the game. I would still play it if it were a 3D remake though.

I have no clue, it might be like KH1 for the ps2, that would be interesting to see!

Probably more like KH1 but with different controls.
