Riku, standing on a street corner: Keyblades! Get yer keyblades here! Free keyblades!
I wonder though, if there is going to be some big repercussion from all these Keyblades popping up. Anyone who watched a certain show will know where I'm coming from here... But, suppose that there was only ever meant to be one Keyblade and one Keyblade Wielder. I remember Nomura did say that there can be as many Keyblades as there are qualified hearts, but still, there might be something else at work here.
If you suppose that there is a natural balance in the KH universe, such as the one implied by the Light and Dark duality, then a surplus of these good Keyblade Wielders will cause the balance to generate some counter-mass or opposing force. The image brought to mind is of the field of Keyblades in BBS, which to me is reminiscent of a graveyard (fallen warriors' weapons stabbed into the ground): a war between the Keyblade Wielders that kills off all of them, with the exception of just one survivor, thereby reestablishing the 'balance.'
It's just a hunch... but more than that, I just think it's an interesting idea.
Kairi, the next keyblade master?

My opinion is that, that it doesnt make sense. Sora is a wielder of the light...so how would Kairi set that balance?

In response to the thread, I think Kairi would be an awesome keyblader. I think she should use the Oathkeeper, though, and not that stupid "flower-rific" one that Riku gave her.

Ooh, I like that. That's an awesome theme for, say...KH3. Sora meets someone with a Keyblade or other weapon whose job is to defeat light.
Although, I wonder if the Keyblade isn't more like a weapon that keeps the balance between light and dark. Sure, we always see Sora killing nothing but darkness, but perhaps there is just a major surplus of darkness. Maybe by sealing the keyhole, the balance is re-set in the world.
Another way to look at it, however, could be that Sora, Riku and Mickey are the three 'main' keybladers, with Sora being the light, Riku the dark, and Mickey the twilight.
I like my first theory way more, though.

Something just occurred to me, didn't Ansem (SoD) give Riku the "Heartless Keyblade?"
Maybe in his quest to learn more about Hearts/Heartless, Ansem learned to make Keyblades?
At any rate, I think that each Keyblade has a specific master.
Silver w/ gold (Sora) = Those with the strongest heart and bonds
Gold w/ silver (Mickey) = Master of the doorways(?)
Soul Eater/Way to Dawn = ?
