(SPOILERS) KH: 358/2 Days - Official Discussion Thread

Originally I looked at it as a giant equation. But I started a new KH2 game and I remembered DiZ talking about how Roxas would need a new personality for that week before Sora woke up. I think what this game is is CoM in reverse; We play through Roxas' memories of his year in Organization XIII as they are being erased by DiZ over the couse of 2 days. This would fit with what Nomura said about the game, as "we know the ending, but not the flow of the story." Granted, I'm paraphrasing that last part, but that sounds good, right?

Okay a quick speculation:
"Okay, what if, and I do mean what if, Roxas did contain Ven's heart. If he is remembering Sora's past, could it be possible that he could be haunted by Ven's past? It's just a thought.
Roxas came out of Sora though. So for your speculation to be correct, Ven's heart had to have resided in Sora for the full 10 years. And that'd be hitting BbS territory.
@KH2Rulz: If you know it's going to be off-topic, don't post it here.
@Jack Skellington: That sounds pretty good. I like it.

I have a new theory on the title's meaning;

I like the idea. There are many theories to the tittle but i've heard so many good ones i don't know which one is mostly true.

I still have to say, though, why is Roxas using the Kingdom Key instead of his Org XIII weapons?

EDIT: This is relatively off-topic, but do you think that SE is pretty smart making different games for the different platforms? Never put a DS game on PSP or a PSP game on DS...
Right there. You said so yourself.
I didn't notice his change in taste for keyblades. But I doubt Days would be going into the origin of the keyblades, because its focus is on the average day for an organization member.

The keyblade was his Org XIII weapon.
I think the reason it's only the keyblade is because he doesn't have any memories to attach to it, so it stays in that form.
I was just wondering, how do you think the touch screen will come into play here? Do you think they'll just ignore it or maybe just use it to go into a menu and stuff?

It shows that part of 4 players, that's wireless mode I think and if it is, then maybe the game is whoever can kill the most Heartless.

Items. Menu. Character and party selection (if there is any)
no combat stuff, i wouldn't think. that could get messy.
Agree and there's already a topic for that.
Also i always wondered why Roxas never had the original keyblade. Well in Hollow Bastion there was the Oblivion and then Oathkeeper in Traverse Town. Maybe Sora getting these is how Roxas could have gotten his weapons. It's just a theory so i don't know if this is possible.

358: The days Roxas spent with organization. (I think, I haven't playing KH in a long time)
/2: My friend told me the story followed Roxas and Axel. Two people= the number two in the title.
So, in short, it's the year Roxas spent before being taken by Riku, except you would play between Roxas and Axel. When days was added at the end (when I finally got to a computer again and found out) my whole theory was made useless.
A bit off topic, www.kh2.co.uk (or is it .uk.co?) is blocked from where I am. What were the last two updates from the Tokyo Game Show?

the keyblades are oathkeeper memories of kairi. oblivion memories of riku. roxas doesnt have memories of being sora. so he has these keyblades. if u remember in deep dive after roxas tosses oblivion to riku . he then has the kingdom key.

so roxas and riku didnt team up to fight the heartless then . since it is just a concept video
Yes they did. Just because it actually happened doesn't make my point any less valid.
Deep Dive is a concept video. Not everything that happened in Deep Dive actually happened in the game. I don't put any trust in Deep Dive for said reason.
Major points of Deep Dive were removed from the game, hence the concept part.

And other major points were not, so don't not trust it at all.
