I probably sound clueless but are there any cheats that don't involve action replays or game sharks?

Never seen one at any of those places. I've seen a DS action replay, but I couldn't find a PS2 action replay.

Why can't use the other commands like Magic, Item or Limit when you play as the other characters?

1: Sora's not in the party.
2: The Limit and Magic commands aren't programed into the other characters. You should be able to use Items. Not from the command menu, but from the pause menu.

Okay, this might seem a bit ironic, but here's something:
A few months ago, I had a virus on my computer and had to reinstall Windows. I thought I backed up my converter, but I didn't. So, does anybody know where I can get a new one?
