Honestly man, Proud Mode isn't difficult at all. In fact, it should be easier if you did Normal Mode first because you should know where everything is and what not. It also depends if you level up or not. Makes a big difference.

You're probably letting the fact that you know its the hardest difficulty get to you.

Does that remotely make sense? It sounded better in my head. o___o

So by making a topic, do you need help or something? There is a sticky for that...

I do level up and it takes forever Im on the struggle battles and i keep losing and there's no where to level up unless you fught seifer in the back alley for 13 exp. points per win that would be a long time.

KH in hard mode is hard, KHII is hard mode is...sufficiently challenging. But it still really isn't until you reach the organization battles. I didn't do KHII in normal mode, though, so I can't reach a fair comparison.

Naruto99, if you are having trouble in the struggles battles, then you need lots of help. Don't mindlessly attack-watch your opponent and use strategy.

If struggle battles are giving you so much trouble, just get more orbs than your opponent, and run away.

That should be your last resort.

Who specifically are you having trouble with?

oh, for a second I thought you might be trying to relate that Hard mode in KH was hard. It twas, but KH2 proud mode? It wasn't near as hard as it should have been. Its pretty tame compared to so many other game's hardest modes.

I wouldn't call Proud Mode all that hard, this game is pathetically easy even on it so called hardest difficulty mode.

Thats is one of the major grievances I have against KH2 - that it is way too easy to beat unlike KH1 and CoM which where more difficult and challenging games.

KH2 proud mode has its share of challenges too I guess... Like Sephiroth or when fighting Xaldin.

Is it KH1 or 2? I'm about to finish proud mode on KH2 and let me tell you, in the beginning, idk how many times King Mickey had to save my butt in Beast Castle! Ughs, Xaldin was the worst! But after that, I started leveling up and then its was smooth sailing from there. The problem with proud mode is that you're used to normal or easy. Now that I'm so far into the game, i don't notice a thing! Now I'm just leveling up myself so i can fight Sephiroth, thats going to be fun *sarcastic*

Amazingly, in Proud mode fighting Xaldin, I didn't die not once. Where as in Normal mode, I died more times than I can remember. Maybe it was because I knew the strategy already (unconsciously I guess) but that also has to do a lot. Your memory will do you good here.

The third time I fought him (I always start a game on normal mode then the hardest from then on, so my second proud mode file) he was pretty easy, just keep doing the "learn" reaction command like 10 times then just use them all on him at once and the damage adds up fast. But on my first normal file I remember getting saved by Mickey a few times too many just on Xaldin.

I never really used the Reaction Command here but Mickey was a HUGE help for me. It really is luck on how many times Mickey will appear. Sometimes not at all and sometimes maybe around 5 times. That may be the only reason I won. Thank God for that.

Proud Mode wasn't that hard for me.
I beat Sephiroth at lvl. 62.
To be honest, I thought Xaldin was harder than Sephiroth.

The only times I died in Proud mode were:

1. Fighting the possessor-thingy in Beast's Castle.
2. Fighting Demyx.
3. Fighting Xaldin.
