The ending to KH2 wasn't sad per se... but I still want to cry everytime I watch it. And also the part where Namine and Roxas fade back into Sora and Kairi... again, not actually sad but just... emotional.

Also when Ansem the Wise 'sploded. I was like... o-o what just happened? And called up my friend and was like 'AHHH! Did ansem die!?'

I kind of liked Ansem the Wise. Poor guy.

Axel, Riku and even Roxas are called complex, yet this guy gets the shutter or...whatever the saying is. Sadly, as unappreciative and complex this character is, IMO this scene isn't very sad. I pitied him though. Though, half of me expected he'd die.

Can't really say I cried in any of the scenes. I just felt bad.

I don't think I will ever cry or really feel much emotion over games (MGS series is an exception lol ).
But it's Namine telling Roxas he was never meant to exist and imagine how bad you would feel knowing that!

KH2: When Roxas said his summer vacation was over and the part where Sora meets up with Hayner, Pence, and Olette and gets on the train and a tear cascades down his face. It just kinda touched me.

Gah, there are sooo many emotional scenes in all the KH games.
Honestly, I don't think I can pick just one. Everything already said ftw.

Another sad part is when Roxas pretends to remember Axel, and Axel catches him.
Its not a death scene, but I think its really sad. Poor Axel.

KH: When Sora sacrifices himself for Kairi. Everything about that scene is heartbreaking. It was so unexpected for me at the time, and the music was beautiful but so sad...it's one of the most memorable moments for me from the entire series.

KH2: When Sora is leaving Twilight Town and says goodbye to Hayner, Pence and Olette. That tear running down his cheek was just so touching!

While I agree with many of the people in this topic who say that the Sora Sacrifice scene is very touching, I personally find the scene at the end of Monstro with Riku having finally found Kairi, only for her to be heartless, to be the saddest. The brokeness in his voice is devastating.

Anyway, I always loved the Sora Sacrifice scene from the first game. The music there is perfect, and the effects were beautiful.

But really the moment I cry at every time I see it is Sora, Riku and Kairi's reunion in KH2. When the screen goes black to show Riku beneath his Ansem-body and the music starts in, I just start crying. "I looked for you...I looked everywhere for you!" I guess I might not have been as emotional if I weren't a Riku/Sora shipper (yeah, yeah--laugh all you want!). But it was still regardless of that subtext I added to it.

The end of KH1, when Kairi sees the drawing in the secret place on the islands, and she "sees" Sora drawing it, he flashes her a smile and then disappears. Her emotional reaction to that did more to develope her character than almost anything else in the series. And you could kinda feel for her.

ya that scene was moving... although there aren't many scenes i would call sad in the kh series.

Roxas' story is sad, i supposed, with the way he feels he is screwing up his friends lives and then they get torn away from him, and then sora cries when he is leaving them; the scene were he and axel fight and he can't remember their friendship; later when he does remember and they fight anyways, and then axel leaves and roxas ends his prologue; the scene were roxas says he won't be missed and axel says he would miss him; axel's death and roxas' attaack on sora; roxas joining sora and being serpated from namine.

these were all sad, but it was not enough to cry XD kh really doesn't do that, not like the compilation and FF6-10. i never cried for a game, but zack and aerith's death were close, and the zanarkand theme in FFX was great and made me want to cry, but i never actually did

I didnt read all the other posts, so somebody probably allready said this one, but for me it was in KH2 when goofy got hit with that rock, things got kind of seriously sad when mickey and sora and donald thought he may be gone for good. That was touching for me.

OMG i know what you mean, for some reason charging scenes and scenes where the characters get pissed off always excite me. Like Fire Emblem, before the final battle, or KH2, when you charge the 1000 heartless, and this scene as well, especially when micky draws his keyblade... epic

Axel's death was quite tragic. He sacrificed himself to help the hero, even though he was on the side of evil. I do admit that I got a bit welled up.

He killed himself with the Riku's Dark keyblade to save Kairi. Either that's what shes talking about or something else.

Roxas's whole prologue in KH2. After learning everything about Roxas' history, I feel so bad for the guy. He's one of my favorites too. He's like the good sides of Sora, without the dumb childish aspect Sora has.

Also, the death of Larxene and Demyx. Those will probably make me cringe again every time I see them. Especially Demyx who really didn't have it coming to him.

Also, I guess, Goofy's fake death in KH2. When he woke up it kinda killed the drama though. It would have been interesting if they would have just killed off a major character like that.

Sora's suicide didn't really appeal to me. It was really what you expect the naive dumb hero guy is going to do. Wasn't surprising, could see that coming from a while.

Roxas' ENTIRE STORY is tragic. Now that 358/2 Days is out (it wasn't at the start of this thread) we finally witness Roxas' story come full circle. As if the prologue of KH2 wasn't sad enough, add in the ending of Days with Xion dying in his arms and knowing he'll forget all about her.

"Who else will I have ice cream with!?" was the line that really got me.

Also, knowing the events of KH2, his final line in Days, "Only seven days to go, and then my summer vacation is over." adds so much more emotion for me to his original KH2 line "Sora, Your lucky. Looks like my summer vacation is.....over".
