So I got this yesterday for Christmas, and... Wow... This pwns the original GBA version so badly it's not even funny.

Incredibly enough all of the voice actors sound EXACTLY how I pictured their voices as. (Orginization-Wise)

The game's just a lot of fun, and soooo worth waiting as long as we did to play. That is my opinion anyway. What do you guys think?

Oh yeah: And the opening wasa very nice touch with the song and different scenes and all. Made this game feel more like a KH game should, you know?

Gameplay wise, I thought it was very fun. Alot easier to get into than the GBA version, though the camera is something to be desired.

While the lip-sync could've been handled alot better, I thought the voices were great.

100% agreed, I hated how hard the GBA version was, this is much easier, which makes it much more fun to pick up and play.

My only minor quip so far is that Sora sounds like KH2 Sora not KH1 Sora (Which, given the timeline he really should still sound like)...but I guess that really can't be helped. D:

I don't they should've had HJO reprise. For a future KH game, yes, but not this.

I would have thought they'd at least digitize his voice into being younger... I know it's possible...

But I don't know if I could accept anyone other than HJO unless they were REALLY GOOD.

That's what I thought about Snow and how Meaghan Martin was gonna replace her.

Personally, I think Martin did phenomenal as Namine. Every bit as good as, if not better than, Snow.

Yeah, they should of just made his voice higher. The folks of South Park do it. The folks at Avatar done it when Zach Eisen's (Aang) voice went through puberty. And, radda radda radda radda. They were just plain lazy to do so (or even do a recast). Ah, well. Least his performance wasn't shabby.

Well, I guess I got used to Sora's voice, but at first it bothered me greatly.

It is so much better than the GBA version. One thing I don't like about it, though, is that they waited WAY too long to do this. The voices for Sora and Riku sounds off track to me, if you know what I'm saying. But, when you get past that, it's so tight. I love the voices for Organization XIII and the gameplay for this game.

Personally I don't mind Sora's voice, but that's just me.

I just got to the first Larxene battle, as I was out of town for several days. But the game just keeps geting better. Larxene and Axel are still my two favorite Orginization members, hands down. And the girl who did Larxene's voice realy did an amazing job in my opinion.

I forgot about despite how hard it is, how great of a story Chain of Memories told. smile.gif

But, did anyone else notice when Wendy says that she wants to go back to London?
Isn't that breaking the cardinal rule of No Real World Locations in KH?

I can't remember if Wendy has mentioned London before, I just remember her wanting to go home.

Well, they've already had the Big Ben clocktower (which is taken directly from London), so they probably didn't see it as a huge deal at this point.

Y'know, I'm starting to notice that every game after the first Kingdom Hearts is feeling less and less like a Disney game and more like...erm...an anime? A soap opera? I don't know. Not exactly a flaw, but more like something I notice.

I agree.
I can't stand it when Sora rubs or flicks his nose.
Or when he leans back with his hands behind his head.
Ugh.
So crappy anime shitty cliché stupid dumb ugly poop.

As a matter of fact, I don't like it when anyone in the series displays those traits.

It just pisses me off.

I'm starting to think someone at Disney should help the Japanese team in writing and movie direction. But, I don't think Square would want to do that. =_= ...or Disney. *sigh*

Also, the way they talk, also makes it feel like I'm watching an anime. They're always talking statically, somehow. Not to mention, some of the motion capture feels like it's been reused over again. It just always felt that way. And, I don't usually get that feeling with Disney movies or cartoons, even.

Now I got nothing against anime, or am I setting it above everything else. It's just that in the first game, it felt like a Disney movie, and that was actually one of the major things that I actually follow this series. But, that's...kind of gone. =/

Also...I have to complain that Donald and Goofy doesn't communicate much to the Organization members. It was mostly Sora. With that said, the writers are making them a bit too serious. I mean, I'd either just get amused or...just shrug. Genie didn't do much for me either after his first appearance in KH1. They've got to learn to let loose sometimes.

...yeah, I'm done. Rant over.

That never really made any sense to me: the seperation of certain worlds. Several Disney movies used in KH are supposed to take place in the real world, but they divy it up anyway. I believe Cinderalla was supposed to take place in the dark ages of our world, just some fnatsy elements mixed with it. Beauty and the Beast happens in France. Peter Pan in London. And so on.
