I am leaving the islands and going on up to the 13th floor but I have to fight Replica Riku first. I don't know why I can't beat him. I had a really easy time beating him last time but I just can't seem to do it. He has more life than usual. If anyone has any tips or tricks that they can give me that would be a lot of help. I just really want to get onto Riku's story.(is his story called Reverse/Rebirth? i don't know where i heard that name.) Anything you have is a big help.

First: at this point in the game, your deck ought to be set up pretty high. you want the cards to be set up for combos; if u ahve three nines, three eights and three sevens, you set them up in this order: 9,8,7,9,8,7,9,8,7. obviously your cards won't look like this, but this is a good idea to use. if u use a card he can't break to start a combo, then you can hopefully use the knockback from the last attack to keep him from breaking your second and third attacks.
Second: try to watch where the cards appear rather than watching riku. When you see a card, use the first card in your combo. if it is nine, it will break his. Then, finish the combo. your first attack might miss, but it helps.
second, keep three zero cards at the back of your deck. when you see him stock two or three cards, switch to a zero quicklu (if they are at the back, you should just have to switch past the reload square). break the sleight the moment he uses it, since dark aura is close to instant death.
also, keep three cures between your attack cards and your zeros. for enemy cards, use oogie boogie for regeneration and vexen for auto-life. Lastly, make a mental note of your card values, what type of keyblade they are, and where they are located. there may be times when you want to use sonic rave, especially near the end of the battle. this ability is learned through level ups, (in case you focused on hp or cp when you leveled up, and haven't learned it yet) know what cards you need for it, and use it as much as possible if his health gets to one bar to one and a half.
if you have room in your deck, add an elixir or megalixer, if you have them. They can bring back cards that are 'permanently' lost, so if you use sonic rave and don't have the cards necessary for another use, you can use an elixer to bring them back
thats it really. works for almost any boss in Sora's story. beware larxene, after riku. she's fast. you can avoid her attacks easily enough, but she does not give you the break you need to refill when your cards are out. I think she is the hardest in sora's story.

Yeah, the 0 Card Break at the front/back of the Deck is my boss stratagy of choice!
Like Marluxia said, keep a handful of 0 value cards in a convinient place in your deck (front or back is recommended). Also, always have a reasonable number of Cures around to pull off a good Curaga or two when needed.
A big help would be to have a balanced status of HP, CP and of course, Slights. I strongly suggest that you should at least be at LV 50 before taking him on.

I would suggest a 9, 7, 8 combo though.
The middle card usually never gets broken. It's most likely the first or last. And considering that the last swing always takes longest, it's better to have an 8 up than a 7.
I can't really give you that much advice though to be honest. At that point in the game, sleights became overkill and if I had any difficulty, I could just spam them. They're like the Re:CoM version of limit breaks and reaction commands, you don't need them, they only make the game easier.

Oh yeah, I have a question to anybody out there. What does it mean when the Keyblade card has a gold number on it, instead of a white one. I believe it's called premium cards. What does that do?

when you put them into the deck, they cost less than the white card with the same value. but, they can only be used once, which makes their only real use for starting sleights.
i trade all of mine in for moogle points, and when the spinning reel comes up to turn a card into a premium card, i exit out. the cards are pretty much useless.

Half my deck is Premium cards. I hope that damn Moogle gives me some good cards after I trade in all my Premiums.
