also, when roxas fights sora, roxas says, "tell me why he chose you."
and Xigbar: "did it pick a dud this time. You don't look like your half the hero the others were."
i think it is a keyblade warrior. the question is who. My wacky theory rules Terra out (i think terra is xehanort, but thats for another arguement). He is not ruled out though. Also, Master Xehanort may come to regret his actions... the trailer translations have shown that. it could be him. it could be Ven, but i doubt it. I think that it would be a character viewed as being a leader or a wise man. Ven seems more like a hero, like Sora

I never thought that any of it was connected.

At the time they made it, it was probably just a tutorial thing. I doubt they came up with anything close to the organization until they were ending KH, which leaves me with it being either a- a voice to guide through the tutorial, b- the keyblade, c- "god", or d- the "tutorial" realm is a person that can talk. same thing as a really.

Fans just have to delve into every single part of the game, don't they?

It can be considered a part of the canon though.
Donald: What’s wrong?
Sora: Don’t you hear something? There!
Mysterious Voice: Careful. This is the last haven you’ll find here. Beyond,
there is no light to protect you. But don’t be afraid. Your heart is the
mightiest weapon of all. Remember, you are the one who will open the door to
the light.
Donald: I don’t hear anything.
Sora: Strange... That voice was so familiar. Maybe it’s just my imagination.
Because Sora addresses the voice, it's a plot element and not just a tutorial for gameplay.
Now, whether or not they'll delve into who or what the voice is, well, who knows. But if I had to take a guess, I would say it's Mickey. Why?
- Like the disembodied voice, Mickey can talk to someone remotely, as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ig6xgMK4Ed4
- Like the voice in Sora's Dive to the Heart, Mickey can go into someone's heart, as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQtWSvyk6pk
- Mickey knows more than he lets on. He knew that the Inverse Kingdom Key was in the realm of dark, for instance, so he was almost certainly involved with the KK in the past. Also, he knew about Sora and Riku before they even met, as seen in the first link. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we found out Mickey was involved with the origins of the KK in BbS or if he told Sora about assigning him the KK in coded.
- Mickey's symbol is on the KK, the shield, etc. I realize this is somewhat of a moot point since Disney likes slapping their logo on everything, but it still stands.
The fact that Mickey has his own little dialect does not contradict this theory since we don't know what the voice sounds like and, as you can see in the first YouTube link, he can speak properly.
However, if it was still Mickey speaking in Roxas' Dive to the Heart, I'm not so sure. I could also see it being Ven, since he is most likely a part of Sora in some way, shape, or form.

I like some of the theories about the voice. Maybe Noruma has plans to explain
it by KHIII.

To branch off of this, Xigbar said that one of the "friends" is in the room of "Awakening"

I just started playing that game over and was thinking about the same thing.

so there is going to be kh 3?
I thought the voice is more of a force than a person, because there are no sound but it communicates through telepathy

However, I think there's a possibility that the voice who spoke to Sora was different from when Mickey spoke remotely to Riku. You'd think something would have clicked in Sora's head when he heard Mickey speak at the end of the first game, like "Oh, he's the voice I heard before," or something.
Also, when he first got the keyblade, there was that voice saying "Keyblade...Keyblade...Keyblade..." that was probably the same as the "tutorial voice." I highly doubt Mickey would have been whispering that, telepathically or whatever.
Just a theory.
My current reasoning; they are two different voices, Mickey for Riku and the Keyblade or original keyblade master for Sora.
If you want to get technical:
It was probably just a voice they put in for effect/tutorial purposes. You've gotta admit; it added magic to the first scenes.

Thanks for answering me. I wanted to know what you guys think. I'm not saying i think it means something, but I wanted to see if anybody had any ideas. I think it is most likely the Key Blade, but, i like the theory about it being Mickey.
I dunno. I don't wanna rule out Mickey but it seemed too...well I can't find the word but I'm going to go ahead and say formal. But this goes into another theory. Does the keyblade actually have a mind of its own? Not that it acts on its own but you know what I mean.

the keyblade chooses the bearer, for the most part (an exception would be kairi and roxas, and maybe riku, but theres no proof of that) also, in final and master forms, it can act away from the hand of its wielder. it also acts in its own way a few times, like locking keyholes in wonder land and deep jungle, and when roxas uses it, it points at a dusk nobody, while roxas' hand gets jerked around

What Kairi and Riku have are keyblades. What Sora and Roxas have is the Keyblade. I'm guessing that the Keyblade holds properties that other keyblades don't, perhaps the power to control the locks of the worlds (like the "pathway between" locks and the doors to the hearts of the worlds), not to mention only being wielded by the Keyblade Master. Like Riku said, "There can't be two keyblade masters."

Mickey didn't meet Sora until the end of KH1 and even then the voice who spoke to Sora didn't really seem to talk like Mickey would. And then they didn't meet again until Sora's awakening in Twilight Town.

While I'd normally say you shouldn't trust the KHwiki, Grunge, this time it's right. The voice in Sora's dive was confirmed to belong to Mickey via the KHFM Ultimania. Funny how we had been discussing it this whole time when the answer was already out there.
