Terra's body was possessed by Xehanort's heart, but his consciousness still lingered in his armor. So, he uses the last of his power to defeat Terra-Xehanort and becomes the Lingering Spirit we all know in FM+ (epic battle by the way).
Xehanort probably had repercussions from the fight and lost his memory. He got back his memory at some point and turned on Ansem, stealing his name. But, Xemnas shows that he's been calling Aqua's armor friend, and mentions that "sleep takes you yet again" to Roxas in 358/2 Days...that means some of Terra's memories are in Xehanort as well. That's just a theory though.

This is the spoilery version, so please pay attention before you read.
I think that people will come here through searches anyway, so as soon as the clock rolls over on the 9th, I intend to delete this. This wasn’t meant to be a walkthrough site lol
*In the end, I finished all three without sleeping.
I’ll be a bit busy after this, so I’ll stop adding things now.
Here we go.
The opening theme is an arranged version of Hikari.
There was about 4 minutes of it, so I think the full version has been edited.
It looks like all the movie pictures that appeared in the magazine were all from here.
The secret movie from KH2FM has also been mixed in there.
You see Ven naked in the opening lol
First is the Land of Departure.
You do the tutorial, pick a character, and then there a scene of the Master Qualification Exam.
This has the scene from the trailer where the two fight.
Only Aqua can be chosen to be a Master.
They say Terra has darkness in his heart.
In Terra’s story, after this, there’s a conversation with Master Xehanort, and a scene in which everyone gathers and departs.
Including the tutorial, this part takes about 30 minutes I guess.
All the worlds are as below:
*the order in which you visit them changes according to the character
Enchanted Dominion–>Dwarf Woodland–>Castle of Dreams–>Radiant Garden–>Disney Town–>Olympus Colliseum–>Deep Space–>Neverland–>Keyblade Graveyard
Yen Sid’s place and Mirage Arena are worlds but they’re small, and you go to Destiny Islands during cutscene, but you can’t play there.
Yen Sid’s place isn’t on the current map; you go up the stairs and it’s suddenly there, connected to the very highest room lol
Things that haven’t been in magazines yet:
Terra’s Dark Impulse Style Change
If you use Dark-type etc. in the first level, it will come in the second level. The movements are unique and make me think of anti-form lol
The dark aura is very cool.
Vanitas is a being made from Ven’s extracted darkness.
Master Xehanort is using Terra to get the X-blade, and Terra is tricked into taking revenge against Erauqs.
Terra’s story concludes with Master Xehanort taking over his body, and finishes after becoming a thought-body (armour) and defeating Xehanort.
Braig appears as an enemy
He has a fighting style like Xigbar lol
After clearing it, something called a training report appears
In it are things called trophies. One requirement is to clear one person. I still only have one, but there are many.
Also, it seems you can watch all the cut-scenes from the character you cleared.
Edit:
I have also cleared Aqua’s story
The level of difficulty is incomparable to Terra’s story.
After the Master Qualification Exam, she is ordered to bring back Ven, who set off after Terra, and to observe Terra.
Aqua’s story generally seems to revolve around following those two, and it feels kind of like collecting foreshadowing.
Aqua’s the only one who meets Kairi.
You fight Vanitas 3 times in Aqua’s story.
In the last of the series of battles, you also fight Braig, but unlike in Terra’s story, he’s pretty tough.
Timeline-wise, this probably happens after Ven’s story. You must defeat Ven, who has been taken over by Vanitas (the clothes are Vanitas but the face is Ven), as the last boss.
Aqua and Ven are saved by Mickey
Ven, sleeping at Yen Sid’s place, can’t wake up
Aqua’s story ends when she goes to look for Terra, who has disappeared.
Aqua’s characteristic style Ghost Drive has too many unique mannerisms, and Blade Chain felt stronger.
In any case, attack power is pretty difficult from around Radiant Garden, and so it’s no good fighting without keeping magic in mind, I think.
You can win more effectively if you use attribute-less types like detonation-type or magnetic-type.
After getting Blade Chain, I used that all the time though lol
I don’t have time for Ven’s story, so I’ll just put something little together
Ven is the only one who meets Org. members other than Braig.
Ienzo doesn’t speak
In the last battle, you are forced to D-link with Vanitas
Goofy’s wise saying: Ventas lololol
Ven’s the only one with glide.
It’s easy to handle, but in the early stages, attack range is a problem, and you strike and miss a lot. I prefered command barrage.
Of the Destiny Islands cutscenes, Ven’s the only one who doesn’t meet Sora and Riku, and is the only one who has a conversation with Vanitas.
Under Vanitas’ helmet is a black-haired Sora.
I checked the credits; his voice actor really is Mr. Iruno.
I played it in a hurry, so I’ve written it in an incoherent order.

So from what I got from Terra's ending..
Terra's body was possessed by Xehanort's heart, but his consciousness still lingered in his armor. So, he uses the last of his power to defeat Terra-Xehanort and becomes the Lingering Spirit we all know in FM+ (epic battle by the way).
Then I guess this means that the Lingering Sentiment has kinda defined Absent Silhouettes? The consciousness of a slain character left behind in a physical possession? Yes, no, maybe?
Xehanort probably had repercussions from the fight and lost his memory. He got back his memory at some point and turned on Ansem, stealing his name. But, Xemnas shows that he's been calling Aqua's armor friend, and mentions that "sleep takes you yet again" to Roxas in 358/2 Days...that means some of Terra's memories are in Xehanort as well. That's just a theory though.
I have already brought up how strange it is for Xemnas to call Aqua's Armor 'friend' and yet think of Roxas as merely a tool. I mean, altough it's Terra, Master Xehanort is behind the wheel. It really doesn't add up unless Xemnas has the memories of both Master Xehanort and Terra and they have blended to form Xehanort's memories that are remembered all blended by Xemnas and oh look my brain broke again zsdfgvaerhwrsaetAF

But it still appears he lacks essential memories to be consider Terra. Like how Xehanort only remembered his name, Xemnas only remembers those two were his friends. Damn you SE, you just made it even more confusing ><

Tell me about it.. Also:
With Nomura's quote from the Secret Director's Report about Hearts and Bodies reuniting after the corosponding Heartless and Nobody are slain, there is an awful lot of speculation goin' round about Xehanort returning in futures games.. But what Xehanort? Could the destruction of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas have purified Terra from Master Xehanort? Will Terra (or Terranort) and Master Xehanort return? There are just so many new questions!

That's what I surmised. =/

Also, Terra can't be a master because there's darkness in him? Isn't there darkness in everyone? Or is Terra's just stronger than most?

So, does anyone know why Ven looks like Roxas?
Well, reverse really, I'm playing Terra's story so I won't know til I finish and thus far the only person playing Ven's story is offline and he just finished Disney Town.
On a off topic note, the worlds are gorgeous! SE really outdone themselves to captivate the feel of the sources. Plus they are HUGE...I MEAN HUUUUGGGEEE!
Also, Terra can't be a master because there's darkness in him? Isn't there darkness in everyone? Or is Terra's just stronger than most?
Well, from the sources, Ven's darkness is extracted into Vanitas and while Aqua has darkness like all, Terra's a lot more apparent, almost as if he's struggling to suppress it.

Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering how someone like Xehanort could ever become a master if having darkness disqualifies you.
It's funny though....Xehanort possesses Terra, then becomes a Heartless and possesses Riku. Will Riku get to possess somebody too? XD

Xehanort, for one. This is around the same time when he becomes Ansem's apprentice for at least a year, correct? Then... Why does he look so young. He still has that 16-17 year old appearance, yet looks like he's 30 in KH2 and according to Nomura. That light thing have something to do with it?
Ventus and Vanitas. I don't know much except what was stated, but I always believed that Ventus was somehow fused into Sora, giving him his Keyblade potential, and when Sora lost his heart, Ventus' body was used instead to allow Sora to regain his own physical body once the Heartless turned back... Ehhh, confusing.
I must see this secret ending and boss fight.
Also, I heard Ienzo doesn't speak at all. Is he really shy, only speaks in those text boxes, or just appears very briefly?
And then that scene with the 'future' Riku... Or someone who's unproportionate to his waist.

You're in the spoiler thread, read what we're saying

Besides, Braig, the rest of the org confirmed are merely cameos plus Zexion is a kid. Kids don't talk to strangers. That's what we all learned.

16 - 17 year old? Terra looks like he's in his 20s!

Here's a vid of Sora & Riku. Terra sees a rather strange omen towards Riku. Turn your volume up.

Braig was overwhelm by Terra when he consumed in darkness. And in his rage, Terra shot a beam of darkness that hit his eye which ricochet to release MX from his chains and another shot to the face. Lol, hella brutal. Was that BLOOD?

How Xigbar got his scars, this one was expected:

Nope, just dark smoke.
And in that Destiny Islands video, when Riku turns into Xehanort, what are those clothes he's wearing?

I KNEW IT!
And on that note...
I will not look at Sora the same way again (AGAIN!).
This GameFaqs member pretty much sums up what this ending sets up.
- Aqua's stuck in the dark realm.
- When Ansem's machine exploded, "anything could happen" -- including warping him to the dark realm.
- They meet. They talk about Sora, as seen in the trailer. And they "wait for him," like the secret ending says.
- Ansem's speech matches up exactly with that timeframe. It's all about faith in Sora and the magic connection of hearts -- exactly what he was talking about when his machine went kablooey. He also talks about Sora's adventure in the past tense, so it's definitely shortly in the future.
Why Didn't Sora See Them There in KHII?
- They were on the wrong side!
- One shore is in the dark realm. One shore is in the realm of twilight.
- As confirmed in the Director's Secret Report, Sora and Riku were on the twilight side.
- But, naturally, Ansem and Aqua would be on the dark. They had a whole ocean between them!
We Must Return, To Free Them From Their Torment!
- Coded features a mysterious cloaked man. Ansem has a cloak now.
- Coded's all about data-hacking. Ansem was a computer whiz.
- There's been some recent rumblings of Coded continuing after BBS.
- Ergo, the "they" is Ansem and Aqua, and the "torment" is being trapped in the darkness.
- Sora has to return to the dark realm to free them! Which ties in perfectly with telling a story about Mickey's adventure in the dark realm!
Kingdom Hearts: Reconnect!
- "The pieces lie were they fell," the secret ending says. Well, it's time to line them up -- yours, and mine.
- The next game revolves around the gathering of everything. Aqua, Ansem, and even the Nobodies.
- Why? To set up for the next big adventure. Put all the pieces on board so the game can begin.
- That's why the next game isn't KHIII, but not just a side game, either!
Oh, my friends, we are good.
