Then which memory loss was a lie? Xemnas or Xehanort's? Was he faking all the way from the beginning? It didn't seem like it from the BP scene with Braig and Xehanort. He just looked annoyed.
And what would be the purpose for either Terra or MX to pretend that and get experimented on?
Well, it sounds like Nomura might be saying Xehanort as we knew him never really existed, erasing him as an independent personality by reducing him to either Terra or MX. That's just not cool, since I liked original Xehanort better than just Terra or MX.
And like I asked a while ago, now that I'm looking at those bits you quoted, how could Nomura reconcile MX's personality, if that's all Xehanort is, with the "ZOMG SUPREME DARKNESS" personality we see grow in Xehanort and his heartless later? MX didn't seem that obsessed with darkness in BBS, even though he'd obviously been using it for a long time. He seemed most interested in the Keyblade War really.
