I find it pretty stupid how in BBS, Donald and Goofy been to Yen Sid's tower before. But in KH2, Donald and Goofy clearly had no clue to anyone living up in there. Donald was even surprised about hearing that Yen Sid lives in that tower... I'm looking like, wait... didn't you visit Yen Sid's tower 11 years before?

But LOL at Nomura for trying to cover that up in the KH Ultimania booklet. Stating that Yen Sid moved his tower after the time BBS was over. Wow, what a fail attempt to clean up your little messes.

Again, maybe he had the characters forget about the place but not Yen Sid.

Not according to his own explanation.
He simply said that Yen Sid's tower changed, which is why they didn't recognize it. Which is a load of crap considering the outside looks the exact same in BbS as it does in KH2 (the only changes inside are that there are less rooms, lol, the rest is the same).

And there'd be no reason for them to forget anyway.
So yeah, a bit of a plot hole, but it's no big deal in the end.

Well, thats a Disney loop hole. Maybe he trusted Ventus, Aqua, and Terra more than the people of Earth

Probably because Ventus, Terra, and Aqua ALL had their own charms with them and probably from the keyblades.

Actually it does make alot of sense, maybe Namine forgot to put some of Donald's and Goofy's memory back because she was so focus on Sora, so thats why they forgot about the place. Thanks, Saku-chan!

According to interviews with Nomura in the Birth By Sleep Ultimania, yes. The way he put is was:

He also stated it in this interview as well:

That's so awesome, we get to see more Kingdom Hearts action.

LMAO, I read that too. Nomura saying he moved his castle. I love how he try to make up some random bull to stay away from plot holes. Haha.
