SPOILERS AHEAD! IT IS ASSUMED YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME WITH AT LEAST ONE CHARACTER SO TALK ABOUT ALL WORLDS WILL BE OPENLY DISCUSSED. CHARACTER SPECIFIC SPOILERS WILL STILL BE IN SPOILER TAGS.

I'm level 42 now, completed everything but the secret bosses and the arena.
I'm confused as to where to grind.

Now these options seem to be the best for me at the moment:

-The Tornados in the Keyblade Graveyard
-The Mirage Arena
-Neverland

Thoughts?

the keyblade graveyard gives you the most, for sure, but the problem is you have to leave the world everytime the tornadoes are used up... :(
super annoying!

I have been grinding at neverland & olympus coliseum (here only because I could easily 100% my command deck collection since there was a moogle really nearby)
But I think one of the main purposes of the mirage arena is to level, so.... :(

Also I forgot to that if you D-Link with Mickey Mouse you can get double exp. But I can't remember who can D-link with him. I know Ven can but not sure about Aqua.

I just dont see how you can reasonably get to level 100 with enemies which give such little experience D=

Aqua can D-Link with him as well.

I heard that the arena gives a lot of exp., but the enemies are impossible to beat with only one person.

Difficult, not impossible. I'm stuck on the boss of Arena Level 10. "Prison Guard 3". I just can't find a way to get a hit on him.

Right, Aqua and Ven can D-Link with Mickey.

The arena is difficult, but not impossible, I agree. I've done it on all three character on critical mode.

As far as grinding goes, the best spot I've found is Olympus Coliseum. There's some decent spots in Neverland too, but since outside the Coliseum there's only two maps, going back and forth is really fast and can net more exp than the wide areas in Neverland. Just Mega Flare the crap out of them, exit area, repeat xD It's tedious, by hey, that's grinding for you.

Yeah xD

Melding recipes below:

Mega Flare = Fission Firaga + Crawling Fire

Crawling Fire = Firaga + Slow/Stopra/Stopga
(Can't remember if this can be found in chests or not)

Fission Firaga = Aeroga + Fira/Firaga OR Aerora + Firaga
(Fission Firaga can also be found in chests in both Terra and Aqua's stories, I can't remember if it can be found in Ven's or not.)

I'm a melding maniac, so I usually resort to melding before hoping to find stuff in chests. Also it should be noted, if you D-Link with someone and they have skills you have yet to find, once you use them (or at least D-Link to be able to use them), you can then buy those skills in shops :) Easy way to get a lot of good skills really early.

Anyway, Mega Flare essentially obliterates everything that's currently on the map = awesome :D

Definitely xD That's how you get all of your abilities too (Once More, Leaf Bracer, etc etc) if you didn't know. By melding and then adding a crystal into the mix.

You can get some pretty sweet spells/attacks also. Ven has one called Salvation - a pretty nice AoE that heals you afterward. Though enemies can still hit you during the attack animation, so that's probably why it heals you lol.

The best place to grind in Terra's game is Radiant Garden. The battle level there becomes 10 at the end of the game. Although in Aqua's it is only 6. I think the best place to grind with Aqua is Neverland (battle level 9) I haven't tried grinding with Ven yet but just check for the world with the highest battle level. The Keyblade Graveyard isn't really a good place to grind because you can only get about 8000 XP per visit. And I noticed that even though the unversed in Mirage Arena are stronger, they don't give you as much experience. I played the arena match with Iron Imprisoner 3 today (which I believe is 6 rounds) and I got less than 3000 XP.

It's not all about the battle level of an area. An area with a lower battle level, yet spawns more monsters can net just as much exp as an area with a higher battle level. It's not all about EXP either. You have to take into account the time it takes to get the monsters to spawn, how many of them there are, etc etc. Radiant Garden doesn't have a lot of, if any, areas that spawn monsters continuously in a small area. You have to take the time to walk around and get them to spawn. Olympus Coliseum on the other hand has only two areas of battle, with a LOT of monsters that spawn without having to go anywhere. Everything there can be eradicated quickly and like I said, there's a lot. Heck, you don't even have to use the second, larger area of OC; just leave the first area and go back right away. D-Link with Mickey for Double EXP and you're golden.

this was really helpful i swear i was tired of slaughtering countless monsters for very little experience and too much precious time. but i want to add if its in critical mode do u get less experience?? since im passing the story in critical and well when tried the mega flare(with exp chance) in radiant garden i received only 1000 experience per go, the guy was getting 5000, but idk maybe im missing something. hey i want to add a good place to upgrade your commands is in the space ship where u have the gravity things haha, idk i forgot the name. Its a round room with two machines that control the gravity its next to to the control room. If u can easily beat up the guys in the room u will upgrade ur commands fairly quick.

- Make sure you have EXP chance turned on and health below 25%
- Are you at the end of the game? If not, that probably explains it. The Unversed don't bulk up enough until that point for you to get 5k experience.

Does anyone know a good place to level up Terra because he doesn't have the Mickey D-link unlike Ven and Aqua.

I'm surprised how difficult it is to level up in BbS, but it's sort of redundant unless you're having trouble with MF or you just want to get to level 100 for good measure (or is BbS like KH2 and 99 instead? /=[).
