I currently have the PAL version of BBS (imported because I wanted the collectors edition). Because of this, I cannot play with friends who have the NTSC version of the game (I live in the USA) without using the Ad Hoc Party on the PS3. I was looking to exchange my PAL version (keep the extra stuff it came with) for an NTSC version of the game. The only question I have, is there any difference between the two versions besides region? Does the PAL version have extra features not available in the NTSC version?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Raymond

PS. It's been MANY years since I've been to this site, it looks really nice. :) Sorry I had to leave staff so quickly. :(

Pretty sure you'll have to start a brand new gamesave.
You could probably test out the above theory by downloading an american savefile from Gamefaqs and playing it on the PAL version.

Aside from the above incomparability thing, I'm pretty sure there aren't any actual gameplay differences between the PAL/AmericanNTSC version.

Thank you.

I have switched versions. If anyone would like to know, I did have to start all over as I cannot use the same save file on the NTSC version even though they are the exact same game.

:)
