Too many worlds.

KH reference... But seriously, that's probably why.

And isn't your picture a spoiler?

Yeah, I wouldn't have minded going to Deep Jungle again if they made up a decent storyline. But I think they mostly lost that world because of rights to the author of the original novel--maybe it cost too much to keep getting that for the series (reason why it might not have appeared in CoM).

Two possibilities:

1.) The family of Edgar Rice Burroughs got tired of Disney cashing in on their Tarzan franchise

or

2.) Because Nomura doesn't like having worlds with similar themes appear in the same game. For example, because of Port Royal's appearance in KH2 he wrote Never Land out as they both revolved around pirates. He likely would have wrote Tarzan out for the same reason as to not clash with Pride Lands and having a jungle theme.

Deep Jungle was gone because Disney couldn't keep hold of the rights to Tarzan. Deep Jungle wasn't even included in Chain of Memories.

I think the world was probably safe from the heartless and nobodies, or Nomura never really had any intentions intentions using that world.

Like many others have correctly stated, the real reason is because KH lost the rights to Tarzan. That's not to say that Nomura never intended to use it. In fact, I have a feeling that he, like many of us, enjoyed that world. It was so lush and interesting, like how Wonderland was weird and fun to navigate.

I honestly loved Wonderland, there were always some sort of mystery involving with that world. Especially in KH 358/2 Days.

I missed swinging on vines, but maybe they didn't want Deep Jungle to appear this time. It's just they wanted to do it thay way. But I have feeling it's going to come back in Kingdom Hearts 3 or future Kingdom Hearts games.

Ehh Jungle Book would be better. Then, you can swing on vines again with Mowgli. And fight Shere Khan.

Basically. I find it dumb how KH has to recycle the same worlds over and over just to add more play value. I rather see new worlds and new faces. Sure, I wouldn't mind them going back to the world unless the world is based off the movie's sequels or something. Like the new world for Halloween Town is based off the Oogie Boogie's revenge ps2 video game.

It's not dumb, it's actually pretty good. They only save the new worlds for main games and use old worlds for side/bridge games.

Yeah, but Disney is a powerful organization. I bet they could pull some strings but I doubt it =3.

Won't it be 8 years because Kingdom Hearts did have Tarzan in it. But I think it's possible for them to bring it back, after all it is a popular world and by the way how is Jungle Book in legal trouble and is that the reason why Jungle Book was cancelled in Birth By Sleep because of that legal trouble you mentioned.

What? Really? Birth By Sleep was gonna have it but then they scrapped it. I don't think it's in legal trouble too.

8 years, 10 years...same result. lol Well, it all depends on who owns Tarzan(it says who before the main menu in KH1).

I liked Deep Jungle too(especially fighting Sabor frequently as you traveled) But with Disney losing rights to it and well that worlds story being complete, there really was no reason to revisit it.(Chain of Memories would have worked out if there no legal problems)

lol we can replace Sabor with Shere Khan. lol In jungle book, we can still swing on vines. Mowgli can throw bananas like he does in the genesis/super nintendo game.

Well,I doubt it would be any fun going to the Jungle again! D:
They would have nothing to work on that would interest a lot of people, and lets be honest, playing through it just felt like filler. :/
