Help
Okay, I've finished all three storylines plus the Final Episode and I STILL don't understand the Finish command system.
Can someone explain how this works? As far as I know, you need to fill certain criteria to make the Finish command available.
I really don't understand, please help. Thanks.

Well which part of the finish command system? Style changes or how you level up your finishes by picking a new one to level to in the finish command menu...

The latter, I'm guessing.
I never figured it out either. It doesn't seem like you can pick the type of finish you want to level up.

It's not too hard, different finishes have different requirements to unlock, you can only unlock finishes adjacent to the one your using.
I know for example theres one that talks about earning so much money, or taking so money steps, or killing so many enemies.
It's not too hard, check a guide for specifics.

You sort of can, it just has to be connected to the one you're currently using. And some Finish commands can level up two subsequent ones at the same time. Like Ven's Air Flair 1, once mastered and in use, can then level up Ramuh's Judgment (activate the Thunderbolt command style 12 times), Air Flair 2 (like many of the characters' main line of exclusive Finish commands, this one has a CP goal you need to meet) and Twisted Hours, which requires 7,000 steps taken.
Aside from those, other methods of unlocking are collecting munny, for the bottom yellow row of commands all 3 characters have, activating the Firestorm or Diamond Dust styles a certain number of times (the Heat Slash commands you get from the former are the red tabs in the Finish command menu, the Ice Burst command Aqua gets is light blue).
That's the general idea, though if anyone wants to add anything they're welcome to.
