The D-Link reference comes from the secret ending where she sees her charm shining and then fade, and then stumbles on Castle of Dreams, this to me was her charm letting her know that someone she was connected to had passed/died or whatever.

I had forgotten about how most people made it to Traverse town if they made it out at all, but I don't think Nomura will try and make a whole game with Aqua talking to herself.

Xehanort is a keyblade master, meaning he's given that knowledge as well, Yensid knows because he is also a master. I don't think Xemnas had a hunch and no proof, I think he tried to check home for Ven, and found Castle Oblvion and assumed somehow one became the other.
And while yes, Nomura likes to toy with us, most things in the secret cutscenes come through in one way or another.

Yes a strong heart IS needed to make a nobody in the league of the Organization, but the type of heartless is dependent on the darkness that resides in one's heart. Sora, for example, has very little darkness in his heart, hence he became a Shadow, the smallest, weakest pureblood we've encountered. Where is it that people think that Lea's heartless is Dark Thorn? He wasn't a bad guy, nor did he show to have a lot of darkness in his heart. While we aren't yet shown his transformation into a heartless and nobody, I can't imagine it was due to a thirst for power and domination. I would assume his heartless was a lot like that of Sora's; small, weak, and not having a lot in common with his human form.

This has occured to me, but from a story stand point think of it like this: "We spend two whole games hunting down and defeating XIII of the most powerful Nobodies in existence. We learn that not all of them were evil and in fact some of them simply wanted to be whole and feel again. They have a chance to come back however if they're Heartless were defeated. Their body, soul, and heart can reunite and they can return as a complete being. However, if we as the viewers were to have defeated their Heartless -the keys to their revival- before their demise as Nobodies don't you suppose that Square-Enix as a company would want us to have realized it? Sure, we could have found Axel's Heartless as a meager Shadow and given him the chance to return, but then would you feel accomplished as a gameplayer for defeating a common enemy to revive a friend who has been lost? Maybe Xigbar's Heartless was an Invisible in the end of the world and you've vanquished it, but would that Invisible have stood out to you? Would you feel that by defeating a somewhat more powerful enemy and allowing an even greater threat to return to the worlds? Basically, from a gameplay and story standpoint, I feel like if Square would have us defeat their Heartless that they would want us to feel like and know that we did." Wouldn't you agree?

And, on the subject of their Darkness, they were experimenting with Darkness so there's no telling how it could have effected their Hearts without them even knowing it. Riku's Heart was being taken over by the Darkness in KH1 and he wasn't fully aware of it.

P.S. The Dark Thorn being Axel's Heartless is just a joke from a few years back (it's the hair) and I'm an old member. =P

That's not exactly true. While it was stated that if a heart is freed prior to the Nobody counterpart being defeated they'll return to original form, it was never stated that the reverse can't happen. Nomura explicitly stated in the Director's Secret Reports that the Nobody's body is swallowed by darkness BUT if the heart is later freed they might be able to return to their original human form.

Yeah, I guess it IS possible, but he hasn't explicitly stated that they were guaranteed to return either that way (like you said "might"). I'm just going off what I know about that whole thing at the moment, but I'm not saying it's impossible. After all, this is just speculation.

Besides, come on people! Tell me you wouldn't want to hunt down some Dark Thorn/Red Eye calibur Purebloods! =D

We've been talking about it above? /=P

Between BbS and KH1 and partially during KH1 is what we're believing.

I was thinking the same thing, but the reason why I didn't get what u guys were talking about was because everyone has their own very detailed theorys about the game.
