I've noticed that after KH1, every main KH game had a side game preceding it. KH2 had CoM, BBS had 358/2 Days, and DDD has Re:Coded preceding it. I think BBSv2 (although I think it'll get a new name) will be the side game that precedes KH3. May be we'll get some sort of announcement after DDD gets released.

I don't know what to think. I mean, Birth by Sleep seemed like an ended prequel, which should lead to a new sequel (which it does). I don't know, what it's going to be about - but since the KH team has done miracles before, the this shouldn't be a failure.

An immediate guess of the story - Aqua's adventure in the Realm of Darkness. Maybe she visits some never seen before worlds! The Emperor's New Groove-world? The Princess and the Frog-world? MAYBE A FINAL FANTASY-WORLD!? That, would be truly awwwwwwesoooome...

Let's see. The game might be playable up to 3 characters. Riku, King Mickey and Aqua. Besides that, this game should explain to us how on earth did Riku and King Mickey randomly walked out of the Realm of Darkness into the basement of Castle Oblivion. Also, how Ansem the Wise was thrown out of his Kingdom into the ROD, and discovered the power of darkness and used it for good. It would be pretty cool if Aqua met Mickey and Riku along the way. But my only thought would be, if she did met up with them. Why would she refuse to go or escape with them. Ahh many questions are still left unanswered.

""Where exactly did the King find his Kingdom Key D in the ROD?"
"Have Riku met Aqua in the ROD before?"
"How exactly did Xehanort tossed Ansem into the ROD?"
"How did the King get into the ROD?"

I also think some of Riku's worlds might take place back in KH1 when he was going around doing Maleficent's dirty work


Imagine if King Mickey met up with Aqua at the ROD. Somehow, Aqua's keyblade that was given from Master Erauqs formed into a Kingdom Key D

King Mickey's worlds might be exactly like Riku's, wondering around worlds helping Sora and gang. Remember that scene where Donald and Goofy found that Gummi Block in Deep Jungle but did not recognized it. It might've been the King's, who was wondering around the world...

Well, they already made DLC in Japan for Aqua's journey in the ROD called "Zero Point." They just needed to translate it to the PSP or PS Vita. IDK about the new worlds for Riku and Mickey though because they're already running out of ideas for worlds...

Haha, now people have to play money to play an extra part of the game? Pretty lame. I kinda changed my mind about this "game". I'm not really in the mood for another KH side story. I really want to move forward. They can explain all of that past stuff later in KH3. Having to wait a 2 year gap for a new game is kinda frustrating. We didn't get Coded, Days and BBS till 4 years after KH2's release.

I am REALLY doubt that now. Lately, Nomura has been trolling us since after KH 2 and he also said that he's going to focus on FF Verses 13 then KH3.
Why? Well, they had made SO many sides games for KH, that they are barely focusing on FF Versus 13, even though they announced it 6 years ago, longer than FF 13!

Well, i'm kind of frustrated because:

1. I don't have a PSP to get it on!!! (if they make it for PSP and not PS Vita...)

2. That they're making yet another Kingdom Hearts game instead of focusing on KH3!!

It's not Nomura's fault. BBS was suppose to come out sooner, but then the Osaka team(BBS, later KH3D) had to stop development on BBS for Re:COM, then BBS was changed from PS2 to PSP and that took longer.

I expect BBS V2 to come out if the stuff he wants isn't explained in KH3D.

Right. But as long they don't take 3-4 years to release another KH game. Then I'm fine with it. Hope BBS v2 would be the last game to KH3.

Well, if you think about it, every numbered title game has come out every 4 years(hopefully Versus 13 finishes this year so KH3 can come out 2014 lol).

lol versus been in development for nearly 6 years lmao. They will never finish the game -.- And to be honest, I'm just fed up with all of this waiting and side-stories. It's not necessary to make a new game about their absences. DDD should throw in most of those cutscenes in there.

Wait, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Nomura said that Dream Drop Distance will be the last game, and after that game, it will be Kingdom Hearts 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 will mark the end of the Xehanort Saga. Right?

To be honest, I have no idea. I'm just crossing my figures that this can be the final game to KH3. I really don't feel like sitting down for a whole another year for a KH back story of the other characters. They might as well include that in KH DDD. If they could show the scene how Xehanort attacked Braig turning him into a nobody. Then I'm pretty sure they can show the other stuff. I feel like Nomura is making things up as he creates the back stories.

actually there is one more kh game before kh3 so be patient and well he planned bbs during kh2 development.

Story-wise, it is the last game before KH3. Release-wise, there is another game.

What's the other game? Another remake? Because if it's another game then it has to be a remake or something that connects to Kingdom Hearts 3. That's what I think. Or maybe it's the BBS Volume 2? That's probably it.

Well, maybe BBS v2 IS KH 3D. I mean, they can show hidden memories while they are sleeping like Riku's point of view in KH 1
