If you ask me...I'm glad some of them are gone, but some of them, to me they added something to the story of Kingdom Hearts. But I didn't like Vexion, he was SO HARD to beat in Re:CoM. But that's just me, what do you think?

They've been the most annoying thing in KH since they showed up. I really didn't like where they took the plot of the games in the first place.

I liked some of them, just the ones that once had somebodies though.

I feel as if they we're square's way of making kingdom hearts into a more serious game, less disney fluff stuff, more action and drama, etc.

Although after playing 358/2 days, I feel that sora's relationship with riku and kairi was played over again through roxas, axel, and xion, which I felt was unnecessary.

I need to play the other KH games, like BBS.

Personally, I'm glad they're gone for a couple reasons:

1.) The Org. brings about a lot of fangirls and such who are more obsessed with the characters and yaoi pairings that really detracts from the over all quality of an otherwise dedicated fanbase.

2.) They were very well handled and developed in CoM, but KH2 ruined them. They had very few appearances and their intentions weren't very well delved into until 358/2 Days. They were horribly under-developed and some never even had their names said in the dialogue (which I find to be inexcusable).

3.) They were a cool concept, but I don't think Nomura handled them very well. Arguably he used the best elements and most interesting members during CoM and left KH2 with very little to work with. Characters like Vexen, Zexion, and Lexaeus had a history and could play off of eachother, while you have a lot of lone wolves in KH2 like Luxord, Demyx, and Xigbar (because they're never really talking to the other members, you really can't understand their placement in the Org.).

I agree with the above. The Organization/Nobodies was an awesome idea, but they handled it badly. I'm glad they're gone, personally.

they feel like any other bad organization from any other anime. Akatski, Espada, ect. A group of random enemies that just appear and are fought, and a little of thier history is shared but not much, some members dont even have any real position in the plot other than as an enemy for someone to fight, and any monster/heartless coulda done that

The first reason is why I'm glad that the Organization XIII hype has died down a little. Other than that, I'd like to know more about them - but it looks as though no more will be revealed about Organization XIII.

Yeah, I agree. They do kind of feel like just another group of bad guys. I think it's a very cool idea, I mean some of the members that have a little more background to them are quite interesting, but theres really not much more you can do with them. They were just a needed obstacle to defeat, that spiced up the story a little.

Well, from Braig to Lea, we got some background info in relation to Xigbar to Axel. But I can guess that Braig, Lea, and Isa may resurface in the upcoming KH games. Who knows, we might see the original selves of Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia, and Larxene.

Keystaff Master: I think Braig/Xigbar's story is covered as of BbS, so I'm counting on him to return as a villain in KH3.

I'm preaching the choir, but yeah, they've overstayed their welcome.

I saw a video of Axel's death scene yesterday, and it made me miss him a bit. He should've been the only organization member that they kept.

I'm sure at least a few of them will be back in their true forms.

I actually loved Organization 13. I thought they added dimension to Ansem the Wise's story and Xeanhort's story. Plus they made COM worthwhile. They're good bad guys and they give KH more cool twists and turns than what you would get with just the Disney villains and the one major bad guy.

I completely agree with you. Ansem the Wise was always talked about as some mysterious scientist figure--we all knew there was more to him and his creation. Organization 13 caught me by surprise when they first made an appearance. A delightful surprise.

the only reason I would want to see more of them is to find out Demyx, Luxord, Marluxia and Larxene's Somebodies, ya know?
Also, I always felt the CoM members were way more intense than any of the KH2 members, other than Saix, then again I always liked the CoM story than the KH2 story so that could just be biased

The CoM members certainly seemed to have more face time. KH2 is guilty for not delving more into the Org members' personalities. I didn't care for Luxord, but I thought Demyx, Marly and Larx have eccentric and amusing personalities. I'd like to see their "Somebodies," especially Larxene. She was such a bitter melon that it makes me wonder how she might have been in a previous life. Nobody becomes so completely and unrepentingly spiteful without a history.

Did you skip Days or something? I thought it developed the non-CoM members a lot more. Just because they didn't get as much face time as Axel and Xion and Saix, you still got to learn more about them and their personalities. Honestly, I'm surprised at most of the replies in this thread, it's like they haven't played Days. Because, really... I don't understand how anyone could think that what was given to us in 358/2 Days was not enough. It was just about almost everything I could ask for, Organization wise. Xigbar, especially. Demyx and Luxord too. Luxord's character may still be a little mysterious, but he had a great deal of awesome quotes from Days.

But I doubt Nomura is completely scrapping the Organization-legacy. They are one of the biggest selling tools of this franchise. Also:

This. The CoM members were certainly developed well in CoM, but I have no doubt that eventually we will find out these four unknown Somebodies. Especially Marluxia. I mean, c'mon, he was a final boss! Larxene also raises a bit of curiosity as to what she was like.

But, Nomura said that the "Xehanort saga" is still not gonna be over until after KH3. And think about it, if you watched the preview video of Yen Sid explaining why Xehanort will "revive", so... that's one way they could show those Somebodies.

Let's not also forget... if I'm not mistaken, the Organization Nobodies were created as a result of the somebodies (Braig, Dilan, etc.) being turned into Heartless. But where are these Heartless? Xehanort's was defeated at the end of KH1, and Sora's... well, we know, but the other 11 Heartless have to exist somewhere. I doubt they just turned into random Shadows and Soldiers.

So.. perhaps they'll show up in a future game?

I'm actually sad that they are gone, I love fighting them, and seeing there special powers that were granted to them. I wish some were still left, or actually I wish they could somehow fade back into exsitense.

I mean, they're practically all back anyway.
I bet dollars to donuts Nomura will throw in cameos of Marluxia/Larxene/Luxord/Demyx's somebodies in the future.

If you're missing the Organization coats... well... they've kind of been done to death. I mean, they've appeared in every game since KH2. D:
Time to stop re-using clothes, Nomura.

In my opinion, all though I wished there were some left. I felt that all of these nobodies were simply trying to find a heart. (Even though some had good or bad intentions)

Oh yeah, you're right. I remember that Lea=Axel, Isa=Saix, Ienzo=Zexion. I can't remember the rest. But they're not gone just "in sleep".
