Well as we all know, final fantasy has a very important role in kingdom hearts (such as giving some exitment into seeing our favorite character fight each other or fight together alongside sora). Now my point to this is I personally would like sora to be in other game titles (either from square enix or Disney games, just like the FF characters have). Hate this or like this idea, I don't care, but I would like to know why you think that way. Feel free to express the reason.

I'd like Sora to start making cameos. If FF characters can cameo in KH, surely, the reverse can be done as well.

I don't think it would make sense to put Sora in a FF game. He doesn't belong in that universe. Its the nature of the Kingdom Hearts universe that allows characters from many different series to coexist.

Sora would kick arse in Dissidia. Imagine him pulling one of his devil spin moves from his Critical form...or Ragnarok.

Well, there was this one dude on Youtube who put fake screenshots of Sora in Dissidia and I couldnt tell the difference. I forgot his username, but it sparked up my idea of Sora being in Dissidia.

I think if Sora were to appear in other game titles, it would have to be, of course, Squeenix titles. To that end it'd be nice if he made a cameo in the next "The World Ends With You" title.

If we could dream and have Sora appear anywhere, though, I would say Smash Bros. is a nice candidate. I've actually thought a lot about what sort of moves Sora would have and I thought that he would perhaps has his normal combos as his neutral attacks. For his third jump/up smash, he could get a keyblade upswing/Glide combo, while his down smash would be the surprising transformation into one of his inner selves (I'm voting Roxas). Where Sora would focus on heavy hitting and combos, Roxas would use his twin blades to deal less-heavy but rapid strikes. As for their Final Smashes, Sora would get Trinity Limit, of course. Roxas would get his ultimate attack that we see when Sora fights him in KH2.

Yeah, that would be a good replacment than not having Sora in Dissidia

Kingdom Hearts has always been a game that pulled from other resources, and we see that with Disney, Final Fantasy, and now other Square Enix games. And it works surprisingly well with Kingdom Hearts.

But would that make it work with other games..? I'm not so sure. Usually when games borrow elements, they're just small references. For example, Namco Bandai in Tales of the Abyss made Jade's belt Pacman, but it isn't a blaringly obvious thing and it's mostly just an easter egg for fans to enjoy.

Dissidia has been specifically Final Fantasy, though, and furthermore, I don't think they could stylize Sora for it. Unless Nomura come's up with another crossover style game, I don't see it happening very well.

Sigh...Well I guess then the closest we'll ever get to KH in Dissidia is Cloud's Costume

And the Sephiroth costume, and the Squall costume. I think KH fans have been aptly serviced for Dissidia to be honest. Although I like the KH costume, I was annoyed that it made it in and we don't have a Shinra MP Cloud.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel in general about Sora making it into other games, however. The reason it works in KH is because it's already within the realms of possibility for that universe, it makes sense within the scope of how we're expected to suspend our disbelief. Would it work in reverse though? I don't know. I'm fairly open to the idea of Disney-based games having Sora in them, again because of, I think, how the KH series has worked, but it's somethign I'd have to see.

I mean, I'm already resisting The World Ends With You's cast joining KH3D. I love TWEWY, quite possibly thebest buy of my DS. But I think its a risky idea to jump the cast over to KH, and I think Nomura knows it, I can't think of any other reason why he's chosen so many of the cast from that game to appear in it. It comes across asa huge case of "in for a penny, in for a pound"

Yeah, I think, now that KH is a best-selling franchise, is kicking out Final Fantasy of the equation

Because Sora is a childish character only for Kingdom Hearts. It's kinda lame. Sora got out of that kiddie form when KH2 came out. Well, he was still pretty stubborn and blunt at some points. Still I wouldn't mind having him in Dissidia or Smash Bros.

i doubt Sora or any other KH characters will appear in any other games unless the game is like KH and accepts characters from other games as well, and only if that happened would i think Sora would be able to get away from Square
