What subtitles would you give to KH 1 and 2? With the exception of 358/2 days, which is a ridiculous mouthful, I've really always liked the subtitles to the "bridge" games: Birth by Sleep = Awesome, Chain of Memories = Fits great. What would you name the 2 numbered titles? I'm at a loss as I suck at coming up with this sort of thing.

All the previous subtitles are almost like riddles and are very significant to the story focus, but which you understand only after you've finished the game. People used to speculate to the ends of their imagination about what Birth by Sleep and 358/2 Days refers to. So an appropriate title would have to be fantastically subtle but capture the heart of the story.

Kingdom Hearts: Opening the Door to Darkness
This really refers to the ending where we find Riku and Mickey behind the Door to Darkness. Of course, it's meant to sound obvious to someone who hasn't finished the game yet; they would naturally assume Maleficient unlocking that particular doorway.

Kingdom Hearts II: Sunset Memories
Forgive me as I pat myself on the back for this one (I really do think it sounds good). It has multiple references to Twilight Town, the happy ending, and Roxas and Namine merging with Sora and Kairi, respectively.

This was a fun question--thanks for posting it.

kh: door of light
mostly i would pull this from sora's quote "i know now, without a doubt, that kingdom hearts... IS LIGHT!"

kh2: shattered nothingness
idk why.

Kingdom Hearts: The Lost King
(Granted Mickey wasn't "lost" but more "Gone off to sort out a few things", but it sounds far more enigmatic...)

Kingdom Hearts 2: The Lucky Few
For this, it's simply based on the fact that there are 13 Org members and that a few more peeps are now Keyblade wielders.
Lucky them!

kingdom hearts 1-darkness vs light
ok well it's cause riku and sora are always competing and one chooses darkness and the other light.

kingdom hearts 2-stranded in the twilight
i know it sound weird but since nobodies don't belong to light or darkness, they live in the twilight and at the end of kh2 we are stranded there(for a bit)

Kingdom Hearts- The Door to Darkness
Kingdom Hearts II- The Journey Continues!
Srry for the crappy generic titles. Believe it or not, it's pretty hard to make a subtext thing or whatever =3

The numbers already feel like subtitles to me. I honestly think the numberd game shouldn't have subtitles, so they stand out from the pack.

DDD feels like it should be a 3. Since it's playing a huge part of the series.

The 3 in KH3D shows reference to KH3.
