over 6 dollars shipping??! Outrageous! Not worth it. It ends up
being the same price as the one on Amazon! So wtf is the point!

What a slap in the face… I paid 45€ for the Limited Edition of Kingdom Hearts HD, and that was only 2 months ago. Well, that’s what you get for wanting to play a game as soon as it comes out.
Still, it’s good for those who haven’t gotten them yet.

Not really. Like I said its the same price as the amazon one. Which ends up being over 30 dollars.if not more. It’s like paying for full price. There is no difference. The shipping should be free. Because the game isn’t worth 30….its old. If it has to have shipping the price should be 15 dollars instead

Its $80 for the limited edition KH1.5 in NZ. Scrolling through the whole site in fact is mildly depressing. Even a ps2 copy of FFX is still $30 or so >:/

It is. I’m from a European country and on Amazon, it still costs around 45€. And if you compare dollar to euro, 19,99$ + shipping is far less than the European price (with the given exchange rate, 20 dollars are about 15€). Therefore I wouldn’t complain. 30$ are not too much for a newly released game, because even though it’s old, people had to work on it once again. Those people have to be paid, too. Then marketing and all that stuff. It’s not for free, just to remind you. It’s not like they run it through a program and a newly recorded soundtrack magically appears out of nowhere. Or that 358/2 Days suddenly turns into a movie… And of course they don’t just want to pay the people working on it but also get some money out of it.
So what if Amazon offers the same price? You cannot compare the official shop to Amazon anyway because each shop offers a different price. If I would do some research, I’ll probably find quite a few shops with different prices, different shipping costs and so on.
In the end, it’s up to you where you buy your games. And if it ends up being the same price, who cares? It’s up to the seller and no one forces you to buy there. Instead, I would be happy that you can get the games for such a good price. Here, it would be absolutely great if more retailers would lower their prices. As far as I know, you can’t even purchase Kingdom Hearts for PS2 in new condition and for such a price anymore…
