Tetsuya Nomura was interviewed by Hiroki Yasumoto on the Square Enix Channel. The interview was done entirely in Japanese. Fortunately the lovely goldpanner has translated and provided key details from the interview in which he discusses Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts III.

Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura sat down with Square Enix Members at their Square Enix Presents booth at E3 and answered questions surrounding the series and most importantly Kingdom Hearts III!

Square Enix have revealed details on the Kingdom Hearts 3 storyline in a official press release distributed earlier today.

“In an effort to undermine Xehanort’s plot, Sora, Donald and Goofy search for seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts,” while King Mickey and Riku search for previous Keyblade wielders.”

Due to the original Kingdom Hearts team and Tetsuya Nomura being hard at work on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III is not being worked on by them.
